In a recent announcement to Staff and Clients, the Chairman of the Board announced the appointment of Lance Jacobs as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 15 October 2021.

In a recent announcement to Staff and Clients, the Chairman of the Board announced the appointment of Lance Jacobs as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 15 October 2021.

The recruitment process resulted in the most suitable candidate being found internally, ultimately demonstrating the high caliber of expertise within the organisation.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Lance joined Curo in 2015 after over 15 years of industry experience in both Retail and Institutional Financial Service sectors. Leading up to his current role, he was the Executive responsible for all aspects of Operations, Client Services and Operational Technology. Lance has worked closely with his colleagues to drive the digitisation and modernisation of the Curo administration platform. In addition, he has been instrumental in improving service standards within Curo and has created a strong team focused on the customer and delivery.

The appointment of Lance, with his wealth of experience has ensured seamless business continuity, and he enjoys the full support of Curo’s Shareholders and Board respectively.
